How to start capture an Assets quickly from home screen?
Overview: Quickly initiate asset capture using the home screen shortcut.
Shortcut Menu
On the Home Page, at the bottom right corner, you will find a shortcut icon that provides quick access to Capture Assets and Capture Document.
1. Capturing Assets
- Tap the shortcut icon and select Capture Assets.
- Choose your capture type: Photo, Video, or Audio.
- Use your device camera or recorder to capture the asset.
- Review and confirm the capture to proceed.
2. Using the Assets Card
After the initial capture, the
Assets Card allows you to:
- Add more photos, videos, or audio files as needed.
- Correct captures by clicking an existing asset to re-capture.
- Declare relevant tags to organize your evidence.
3. Submitting Assets
Scroll to the bottom and click the Submit button. Once you confirm the action, note that assets cannot be edited.
Monitor Upload Progress:
The upload runs in the background to ensure your workflow is not blocked.
- Go to the Assets section on the Home Page to view the progress bar.
- You can continue capturing new assets while an upload is in progress.
